It is with pleasure that I present a violin built by my former apprentice Stijn Smeets. Stijn has 6 years of education as a violin builder from the School of Arts Gent, and has built this violin in his own workshop in Bree, Belgium under the supervision of the undersigned. I have varnished and rigged the violin myself to suit even the most discerning violinist. The violin is built on my personal “von der Lippe” model, and has a very rich and powerful tone. A certificate with photos and a description of the violin is included.

This is the instrument for those who want the taste of a von der Lippe violin, but at an affordable price.
